Café Natsu, Michelin one-star Chef Lewis Barker’s brainchild, opens its second outlet at Clemenceau Citadines Connect Hotel.
The Clemenceau outlet located at the hotel lobby carries the same DNA, exuding the laidback vibes of a Melbournian café and the gentle elegance characteristic of Japanese establishments. Fans of Café Natsu will take delight in the culinary offerings, which mirrors the Joo Chiat establishment’s menu of familiar favourites.
From house-made Buckwheat Granola ($16) with seasonal fruits and yuzu curd made from the fresh citrus and organic yogurt for those who like it light; to poached Florentine eggs ($25) with dressed crab, wasabi spinach and miso Hollandaise; and the signature Wagyu Sando ($26) that sets new standards for sarnies with its slow cooked cuts andwiched in fluffy toasted shokupan and seasoned with shishito pepper ketchup and yuzu kosho mayonnaise, try out these menu highlights that will keep you coming back for more.
That’s not all! Approximately half of the Joo Chiat menu features brand new dishes with a stronger Japanese influence. Dishes such as Wagyu Hamburg with Okonomiyaki ($26), Shortrib Ragu Kare Casarecce ($24), Cold Somen with Confit Egg Yolk and Soy Dashi ($14), and BBQ Shirobuta Don with Soy Caramel and Shishito Peppers ($24) are some of the dishes in the refreshed menu!
Don’t shortchange yourself with an opportunity to dine out with your loved ones!
